Between Chelmsford Drive and Beverley Drive there is a strip of land that stretches from Twigg st to The edge of Park Hall. This land is landscaped with 100s of trees and plants as well as lots of green grass with a stream running through it criss crossed with walkways,it is an oasis in the middle of the huge estate of Bentilee. As i was walking admiring the changing autumnal colours i got chatting to an old gentleman who told me how this oasis had come to pass. When these young saplings were planted there was virtually no vandalism because the whole estate were proud of there achievements. POLICE are hunting gangs of yobs who pelted firefighters racing to 999 calls with bricks, glass bottles and fireworks. Crews came under attack in Shelton and Bentilee as they attempted to put out fires. One of the appliances is now off the road for at least a week while repairs are carried out. Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service today condemned the Bonfire Night attacks which were recorded on CCTV fixed to the appliances. It is the third successive year that fire crews have been attacked in Shelton on Bonfire Night. In a night of terror, the yobs: Threw bricks at a fire engine attending a blaze off Rectory Road, Shelton, at 7.26pm. The gang then threw fireworks at the crew who got out of their vehicle; Hurled bricks at a fire appliance as it passed through the Havelock Place area of Shelton on the way to a fire in Selywn Street, Stoke, at 9pm; Pelted crews with stones and glass bottles after firefighters were called to wheelie bin fires in Wellfield Road, Bentilee, at 9.25pm. The firefighters – who called for police back-up – left without being able to fight the blaze. It is not known whether the Rectory Road fire was started deliberately to lure the crew to the area. Hanley-based firefighter Jim Cooke, who was in the vehicle targeted at Havelock Place and Bentilee, said: "We saw the gang as we drove down past Havelock Place and then we heard a bang as a brick was thrown at the vehicle. "We turned around to go back in an effort to identify those responsible and they threw more bricks at us. At Bentilee stones and bottles were thrown and we had to drive the vehicle away." The 999 calls were attended by crews based at Burslem and Hanley. Hanley crew manager Guy Volpe added: "These incidents could have been far worse. If the driver's window had been open in Shelton, a brick could have broken his skull." Police are studying CCTV images of the incident as they try to identify the youths. It is estimated around 20 youths were involved in the Rectory Road attack with around 12 in Havelock Place. Staffordshire's chief fire officer Peter Dartford said: "It's absolutely disgusting our firefighters have been attacked at all, let alone three times on what is one of our busiest nights of the year. "What goes through these people's minds beggars belief." The brigade was called to 63 incidents on Monday night – with 24 relating to bonfires or fireworks. If the world’s religions were paintings in a museum, Islam would be a child’s dirty smeared finger painting all in one color… Islam’s drive for world-conquest is a sign of weakness. It is a sign of a deeply insecure faith. But then, most killers are driven by their own insecurities too! The man, who opens fire on a crowded cafeteria, is weak inside but that only makes his explosive violence more dangerous, and it makes coddling him more dangerous, because sooner or later he will kill. The way to defeat Islam is never to coddle it, to enable its rages or its conquest of our lands. It is to stand up to it over and over again. It’s to laugh at it. Yes, laugh it and ridicule it! America is a collection of immigrants with humorous traditions of dozens of cultures, Irish, Jews, Italians, Scots, Russians, Asians, etc. We’re not just the reservoir of the world’s talent but its humor too, and humor is the ultimate weapon against the balloon that is Islam! Islam can only expand by force. It can’t leverage any real military force against us. Instead, it expands by their intimidations and deceptions and by our conformities and political correctness. It has no defense against laughter... Muslims are so insecure that: - they would kill over a stray word here or there - they can’t stand up to being laughed at, or to being ridiculed, or to even have their cherished values transformed into a laughingstock. We’re fighting a cultural war and humor is our best weapon! We’ve spent the last 50 years laughing and mocking every aspect of our societies. Let’s turn that laughter on Islam with full bore… And, Islam’s defenders will find it difficult to censor and silence humor, the way they can silence and discredit political commentary. To try and silence humor is to look like a prig and if there’s anything our politically correct cultural overlords hate, it’s to come out looking like the stuffy humorless totalitarian-minded fascists that they really are. The frontline of the cultural war between Islam and the West is right here. It’s the internet. It can’t be silenced or shut down. It’s the interface point between two colliding cultures. It’s the gateway for information and disinformation. It will also help determine, which will stand and which will fall…! So go on telling those jokes. When the arguments run out and the rhetoric is exhausted, humor can always be afresh and a weapon no one can argue against. Get out your Photoshop’s and make those pictures. Get out your Windows Movie Makers and make those videos. It drives them mad, and when that happens, they show their true face beneath the false polite masks they so often wear, in a way that not even liberals can long ignore. Battling Islam with humor quickly clarifies the stakes for the West in an undeniable way, showing that our choice is between maintaining our freedom and losing it forever? Islam’s apologists---namely our press, our politicians, our academics---have been cooking us like lobsters in a pot, slowly raising the temperature until we’re broiling and barely notice it! Muslim rage raises the temperature a lot.
