Army dog handlers working in Afghanistan have a big drive on trying to get people to send dog treats out to them to give the dogs on Christmas Day.
One of the Soldiers is happy to have the parcels sent to him and he will distribute - it would be great if you could send a small parcel of treats (not dog food)
Keep parcels under 2 Kilos and they go FREE from any Post Offie. The last posting date to arrive before Christmas is 30th November. Parcels to:

A very moving and thought provoking poem

Please have a thought this christmas for all our brave servicemen and women who are putting there lives at risk in illegal wars.Also for their families who have to endure the heartache of not knowing whether their loved ones will be coming home.
   Take time out to remember the families of our service personnel who have died or been seriously injured.Christmas is a time for families to be together unfortunately to many families will be mourning the loss of a special loved one.It is so easy whilst christmas shopping,going to christmas parties opening christmas presents eating christmas dinner to forget what is going on in the name of politics and oil.

Ken Jackson The Muslims Against Crusades protestors, who have sought permission from police to hold the rally, aim to chant and disrupt the minute's silence held in honour of the war dead, and mocks charity for injured soldiers Help for Heroes, is due to take place outside the Royal Albert Hall, the same location where a poppy was burned last year.

Please petition the Metropolitan Police & Mayer of London Boris Johnson to ban this demo on "Public Order" grounds.
