millions in cuts now council must find another 35 million

THE Government has confirmed it is handing Stoke-on-Trent a £206 million grant to rebuild or refurbish schools as work starts on more than half the affected sites.
Pupils and teachers will begin seeing dramatic classroom improvements over the next year, with all the high school and special school building schemes set to be completed by 2014.
But it emerged today the deal includes making Stoke-on-Trent City Council pay £55 million towards the overall cost of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
This will be made up of money from the sale of council-owned sites, including schools which are being shut down.
But up to £35 million of this will need to be borrowed and paid back in instalments.
It could heap more pressure on the local authority's already overstretched resource

SO another 35 million to be found can someone please explain how they can fund this oh yes make the people of stoke on trent suffer even more.
